Is it possible to use spurs efficiently without a spur rest?

I am interested in the Grand Prix Aquasport Paddock boots, but I don't think they have spur rests...will using spurs without a spur rest work?

Yes. I've used spurs on my paddock boots and they don't have the spur rest. Just make sure you position them correctly and do them up properly and they shouldn't slide around.
