Silver Crystal Horse
I have a 14kt Gold & Crystal Vanity Set- can't find a hallmark match & I don't know how to add more pictures?
The hallmark seems to be either a horse or a lion centered on an anchor. I've found SILVER marks that are anchors or lions but none that have both and none on gold. All 7 pieces have the hallmark then 14kt and a box with a 4 digit number (apparently it's a replacement part number because they are different on all but the 2 small matching jars) then a small x. I've tried to Google the name but nothing came up. I've also tried to search for Gold & crystal vanity items with no sucess in matching any of the pieces. I took it to a pawn shop & the owner said I should get ahold of "Christies" since the "scrap" gold price for just the three lids alone would be over $2000. I think it's from the late 1800's or early 1900's but it MAY be earlier. I hope someone can help, Thanks.
