Can you use these for trailering your horse?

Hello again. I was wondering if I could just use like polo wraps or something for trailering my horse? I really can't afford shipping boots and I don't trailer my mare a whole lot so I don't, and can't afford to-but shipping boots. Would she still be okay with just the polo wraps of some kind? Also I will be doing hunt seat equitation classes with my Arabian next year on the equestrian team for my high school next year, and I was wondering how should her mane and tail be braided if they have to? And does she need to have a blanket on when in the trailer? Also, should I get one of the neck covers to keep the braid nice? Thanks in advance.
also what are the neck cover things that are like the silky for your horse that like helps protect their mane/braids?
while in the trailer, she usually kicks the walls...a lot. she does have white socks/stockings.
she mostly just kicks the back wall of the trailer. Since the meets are at 8:30 am it is a bit chilly, but then warms up rather nice.

If your horse trailers well and doesn't engage in any behavior that would risk injuring her legs while loaded, you don't need shipping boots at all - she can just trailer bare-legged. She doesn't need to wear a blanket when in the trailer, either. Unless, again, she acts in such a way that she risks hurting herself somewhere and the blanket would protect that area.

I believe arabians are traditionally shown with their manes and tails unbraided. Keep her hair long - just conditioner it and comb out any tangles. If you do choose to braid and you'll be putting the braid in a long time before your classes, you might want to put something on her neck to keep them in place. I believe the type of cover you're referring to is called a slinky.
